I'm trying to find the passenger list for them.
My great great grandfather's name was Tullev Christian Knudsen, although he stopped using the Tullev name sometime in the mid 1860s for some reason.
My great grandfather's name was Lars Christian (Tullevson or Kristiansen) (born 6 Feb, 1859) according to his confirmation documents from 1873. The document shows both last names for some reason. My great grandaunt's name was Anna Kristiansdatter born (28 Feb 1855) according to her confirmation documents from 1869.
They came to the small town of Nettle Creek, Illinois.
According to US census records they both came to America in 1876. I've looked everywhere I can think and have been unable to find any passenger list for either of them.
Could someone point me in the right direction to possibly locate them, if they exist.

It might be possible to find their departure from Norway in the Digitalarkivets emigration lists. What parish were their confirmations celebrated in?
Never mind I just read your bio and this family from fjelberg must be yours.

If this Fjelberg family is yours, the most likely port of departure from Norway will be Bergen with a secondary possibility of Stavanger. Bergen's records are part of the emigration database at Digitalarkivet but mostly Stavanger's were destroyed. I just checked a map and Fjelberg is an island about half way between Bergen and Stavanger, so it's possible that Lars went through Stavanger. And if he was a sailor, there might not be any record at all of his departure.
When I look for the family in the 1880 census I find that they likely were called Thompson rather than Tollevson or Kristianson.

Here is Lars' mother and sister Dorothea (probably a name sake for the departed first wife of Tollef Kristian- it was customary to name the first child of the 2nd marriage of the appropriate gender after one of the departed spouses) in the 1875 census:

Thank you. I did find this and have it in my archive at home.
I also found their passenger list to the US in 1881 together.
My guess is Lars and his 1/2 sister Anna left from Stavenger and their records are gone forever....but I shall keep looking

Yes I have this in my archive. It's funny, because when I started looking for my family someone on Ancestry had him dying in Manitoba Canada in 1900. I have no idea where they got that information from.
