Our ancestors began in Trysil, and came to Minnisota USA and then on to Ettington Saskatchewan Canada. The family name when they came by boat was Vikin.

I am seeking information or surviving families that could help with our history

I have Henriksen in my family tree, but they settled in British Columbia.

Here are some names and dates. If you recognize anyone, just email me and I can give you more information.

Henrik Sakariassen b. 1835 Årstein, Gratangen d.1874 Årstein, Gratangen He married Anne Johanna Jakobsdatter b.1825 Ørja, Torsken d.1910 Årstein, Gratangen

They had one son Sakarias Henriksen (Death Certificate name is spelled Zakarias)b. 1863 d. December 25, 1945. He married Anne Rebekka Berteusdatter Kinnapel b.1856 Grov, Grovfjord

They had four children:
Anny Sofie Henriksen
Henrik Johan Henriksen
Amalie Kristine Henriksen
Berta Jørgine Henriksen
