I have traced one of my ancestors who emigrated from norway via Arendal and Christiansand to Hamburg on Kong Sigurd(Det sondenfjeldske-norske skipsselskap) 02.09.1886 as passenger number 22, but need help to trace him from there to the destination. He traveled with Norddeutch&lloyd.

This is the route which is specified in the authorization of the agents of the Norddeutcher Lloyd, "M. A. Kopperud" and "Ludv. Lütken", in 1886:

Conveyance of emigrants via Fredrikshavn or Hamburg and Bremen to New York or Baltimore, and via Hull or London and Southampton to New York, or directly to New York
