At about 1865 there were several attempts by different steamship companies to establish regular routes to convey Norwegian emigrants to America. In 1865 a company represented in Norway by Geo. Kent in Christiania established a route between Christiania - Christiansand and London. The service was maintained by the two steamers S/S Bertha and the S/S Zingari.

Her koster et Pd. Kaffe 40 Skilling norsk, 1 Pd.
