In 1866 the bark Dei Gratia departed from Bergen May 14, and arrived at Quebec June 17. She was sailing in ballast, and was carrying 266 steerage passengers and 29 cabin passengers. 1 child died on the crossing, it was on June 2nd that Nils, the 21 months son of Ole Olsen Fladelen and Agathe died from debility. The Dei Gratia was mastered Capt. E. Berg and had a crew of 17. her tonnage was 551 tons. The passenger list was archived by the National Archives of Canada [NAC].
