Tonnage: 3,694 tons gross, 3,195 under deck and 2,312 net. Poop 146 tons; House on deck 250 tons; Forecastle 49 tons. She had one funnel, two masts, single screw and a speed of 11 knots. She had 2 decks and was fitted with electric light. There was accommodation for 65-1st and 400-3rd class passengers. Propulsion: triple expansion engine with 3 cylinders of 24, 40 & 66 inches diameter respectively; stroke 45 inches; 292 nominal horsepower; engine built by J. Dickinson & Sons Ltd. in Sunderland. Owners: Akties. Norge Mexico Gulf Linien (G. M. Bryde, manager) Port of registry: Christiania. Call sign: MGVL. Launched on 6th December 1911, she left Christiania (Oslo) on her maiden voyage to Newport News in March 1912. Master: Captain A.M. Pedersen, appointed to the ship in 1912. In November 1913 she made the last of eight round voyages when she left Christiania for Newport News and Galveston. In 1914 she was taken over by Wilh Wilhelmsen and in 1934 went to Swedish owners who renamed her "Ruth". On 7th May 1942 she was damaged in an Allied air attack, was beached and scrapped.
