Straight stem, one funnel, two masts, iron construction, single screw and a speed of 12 knots. There was accommodation for 100-1st and 1200-2nd class passengers. On 1st July 1886 she commenced her first Stettin - New York voyage and on 25th November 1898 started her last Hamburg - Havre - New York crossing.
