I used the Digitalarkivet and found my Great grandmother. She left from Oslo on 27 May 1892. All entries on this page have the Shipping line cut-off. Any idea how to find the line and ship that carried her and where she landed in America? She is record number 89102 in the Oslo database and Number 1472 for the year 1892. She is listed as Anne Kvil. By the way, it lists her occupation as "pige", what is that?

Thanks!

To find the line you must check the original source, or find her on a passenger list on the "other side". "Pige" is a word often used for a domestic servant, and translates "girl".
