1)Wgat line does the Ottawa belong to?
2)G Grandparents left Olso/Christiania on 10-6-1905. The Emigration list showed Benneth as the agent. I think that it should have been Bennett who was an agent for the Allan Line. Am I wrong?

1) It depends on what year this was, as the ship changed owners in 1868 when it was purchased by the Allan Line from the British Colonial Steamship Co of London. It was also operated under charter by others.

2) Yes, he was the general agent for the Allan Line in Norway. He was also the agent of the Union Castle Line (Via England to South Africa)

1)The year would have been 1905 which is after time the info on the Norway Heritage site said it was in service if I understood it right. I was just curious because this ship's name appeared on the NARA Passenger list St. Albans,VT during the time span I think that my G Grandparents arrived.
2)Do you think I was correct on assuming that the agent's name on the Emigration list was spelled wrong and thus my G Grandparents used the Allan Line for transportation to America? Making an educated guess, what port do you think they arrived at and about what date(they left Norway 10-6-1905 on the Montebello)?

1) If this was in 1905 it must have been another ship by that name. I have no knowledge of what it could be

2) Yes, I have seen several variations of his name, it is the Allan Line agent
