Because Knut Olsen moved from Skjæggedal to Fjære Grimstad, is there a newspaper or other public medium I could use to ask about the photo I have, which Knut's daughter Guro signed and sent to my great grandmother, sometime during the first decade (1905-1915 or so)? I do want to find out who the people are.
Thanks,
Edith

I remember this article about how to look for local newspapers in Norway -
http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~norway/na32.html

and also search for local historical and/or genealogical societies in the area using a broad based Internet search engine.

There are several ways that you could perhaps find out more information about your photo. The newspaper that covers that area of Agder is the Agderposten. If you are a Facebook user you can contact them here.

You can also contact the newspaper directly here. http://www.agderposten.no/

You can also try the Amli Facebook page directly here. https://www.facebook.com/toppamli

The Arendal library has also helped me from time to time. They have excellent English skills. They can be contacted here.
