                      | MY Grandmother Inga (Nilsen,Nillsen) was born on October 1, 1938 in Snubba Norway. I am looking for my grandparents there.I think their names were Selma and Nicolki and I believe I remember my grandmother telling me that their farm was named Livang. my grandmother came to America around 1955 |

                      | Snubba is a village at Borgen in Evenes
Could the farm be Liland instead of Livang?

My Great Grandmother was Selma Andrea Nikoline Andreassen b. Mai 29. 1905
My Great Granfather was Nikolai Nilsen b. March 8. 1909

Thank you so much for your help it is much appreciated!! I am trying to track down my ancestory in Norway. This is all so interesting!

                      | Hi. Liland was just a shot in the dark.
I think the name was americanized.
Lenvikmark or Lenvik was the farm, and you are absolutely right, Lenvikmark was called Snubba, local it means "a little shorter"

It´s a very rare name and in Norway the name Snubba only exist on Lenvikmark.
