Here is my best guess for the arrival. Very difficult to read but here destination is Nelson and I think the date reads 20 years old not 28 and on the same ship as the other passenger.s from Trondheim.

There is a census for Canada in 1911. There are only 73 females in the census for females born in Norway in 1890 plus/minus 2 in all of British Columbia. Of those those females this candidate caught my eye. Arrival 1910 and living about two horus from Nelson BC in essentially the same region as Nelson BC. She is married with one young child.

Hm, we are really pusseled with this girl Now my family members that wanted to know all about her , has sent me photos of her and she has gotten a new name Jennie Wilhelmina , and Johnston as last name , we have even been able to find her death certificate in 1958 in Culver City in California. but on that it said even more weird things it said as last name Warner AKA Johnston , we now from the one letter a christmas card in 1951 its stamped from the adress she is dead on In Culver City and she tells that her husband just had past in October 19 -1951 She write the adress which is the same that she passes from in 1958 and the informant that is the daughter is called Ruth and last name for her is Bicknell . She has photos with two children that belong to Ruth ,named Steven and Tina. Anyway I have never seen this last name describtion like that before , so my guessing is that she perhaps has been married before . And nothing is found how she got from Port Quebec Canada to Nelson BA or to California . And when she has changed her name to Jennie is no where to be found either. Thanks |

| Yesterday I was able to use Ancestry and there is a "Sorenson" family tree database that says Kristianna moved to Florida--no sources listed for it. |

There is for sure one person named Ruth Bicknell who could be such an age as to be a daughter, this one born in Montana in 1913: "California, Death Index, 1940-1997", FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VPHB-W3B : Tue Feb 25 16:51:54 UTC 2025), Entry for Ruth C Bicknell, 04 Apr 1977.
Probably Ruth and Jennie in 1930 census: "United States, Census, 1930", FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XCV7-CJ6 : Sat Jul 06 12:37:20 UTC 2024), Entry for Charles H Johnston and Jennie F Johnston, 1930. |

She did not move to Florida ,she moved to California , and death certificate show that and the adress she had in 1951 and 1958 when she passed as the above. So far rest of family has just been tipping about where she went But fact is she went to Quebec first and then she ends up in California . What happen between 6 th of november 1910 and California , is a mysterie to me The Warner name is that the name of her first husbond ,and Johnston is the last She sign in 1951 the adress and name with Jennie Johnston to send letters to her. Thank You so much for the help |

Quite a few things are turning up now but the Norway Heritage site is quite erratic and difficult to post to. This is likely Ruth as the children are Stephen and Christina ie Steve and Tina .

As far as getting to British Columbia from Quebec that would not have been veery difficult in `9`0,
Back in 1910, European emigrants arriving in Quebec with British Columbia as their final destination would have primarily traveled across Canada by train. The Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) was a huge player in this, and they even sold "packages" that included the transatlantic ship passage, the train journey, and sometimes even land once they arrived out West. Here's how that cross-country adventure likely went down: Arrival in Quebec European emigrants would have first arrived by ship at ports like Quebec City or Montreal. Transcontinental Railway Journey From there, they'd board a train, most likely a Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) train. The CPR actively promoted settlement in Western Canada and built extensive rail lines. "Colonist Cars" For the long journey, Canadian Pacific used "Colonist cars" – these were low-budget sleeper cars designed specifically to transport immigrant families from the eastern seaports to the West. Destination: British Columbia The railway lines stretched all the way to British Columbia, connecting the coasts and facilitating settlement and economic development across the country.
