The Ethiopia was one of 5 identical sisters built 1873 - 1878. The other sisters were the Bolivia built 1874, Anchoria built 1875, Devonia built 1877 and the Circassia (1) built 1878. The Devonia had passenger accommodations for about 180 saloon passenger, 90 2nd class passengers and 700 steerage passengers. Below you can see two of the other sisters, the Anchoria (1) and the Devonia.
