Her tonnage was 15 378 tons gross, 14 301 under deck and 9 742 net. She had one funnel, 4 masts and 5 decks. She was fitted with electric light and refrigerating machinery. Water ballast. She had twin screws and quadruple expansion engines with 8 cylinders of 29, 41 1/2, 61 and 87 inches diameter each pair and stroke 60 inches. The engine delivered 1,180 nominal horsepower which gave the ship a speed of 16 knots. The engine was built by Harland & Wolff. She had accommodation for 1200 passengers. Call sign: VFPK.
