Greetings, I am eager to find information on my family from Norway. My great grandparents were Emil Johansen and Marthe Olsdatter from Volden. My grandfather was Emil Johansen He had siblings Mina (1894), Ole (1895), Eline (1899). ( did these people ever stop to breathe?hehe).
My grandfather was Jorgen Emilsen( later Solvang) .B 0/302/1897
dod 1939. my grandmother Berthe (Bertha) Davida Larsdatter
1902-1986. They had four children Emil( 1924-1943) /Johan (1926-2002)/Palma(1922-?)/Borghild (1929-1986) they ran the Svinasen farm.
The family were habitants from Vang/loten/Baerum,

This must be your family in 1900 census, it's even worse than you thought, one child every year for 4 years... and he had been practicing before the marriage ;-)

They were living at Volden when Jørgen was born,
at Alderslysteie when Eline was born 23/04 1899,
and at Røsætervolden when Mina 05/02 1894 and Ole M 10/10 1895 were born.
