Hans Aritsen Salthammar (B: 1809) (D: 1887) married Anne Nerass (B:1799) (D: 1876) in 1830, probably in the Salthammar Norway area.

They had a son Ole Hansen Helland (B: Mar 25, 1832) who resided in Vestnes.

Very interested in any information on Hans and Anne.

Hi!
here they are on the farm Røisene in census-1865 for Vestnæs parish in Møre og Romsdal county:

Hans Aritsen, housefather, farmer with land, married, 56y, male, born in Vestnæs Parish
Anne Fransdatter, his wife, married, 66y, female, born in Vestnæs Parish
Magnild Hansdatter, their daughter, mot married, 37y, female, born in Vestnæs Parish
Arit Pedersen, her son, not married, 14y, male, born in Vestnæs Parish
Agnetta Bendixdatter, her daughter, not married, 7y, female, born in Vestnæs Parish

Arit and Agnetta are thus Magnhilds children, with two different fathers, named "Peder" & "Bendix".
Link to census-1865

Here is probably Ole in the same census, working as a servant man on the farm Helland nedre in Vestnæs Parish.

Here is Anne Frantzdatter in census 1801 for Weedøe parish in Møre og Romsdal county: click here

Her parents are Frants Iversen (33) and Beret Ahretsdatter (31)
They live on the farm Næraas in "Weedøe parish".

Ahret Ahretsen (65) & Anne Olsdatter (60) listed above could be Beret Ahretsdatter's parents.

Weedøe is later spelled Veøy, and is now a part of Rauma muncipality.

Møre og Romsdal is the coastal area around Ålesund
