Hi,
I am looking for information about my great uncle Knud Knudsen. His full name is Knud Georg Knudsen Wersland. He was borne in Haugesund in 1876. He travelled to New York from Stavanger, through Liverpool, and arrived at Ellis Island in April 1893, 17yrs old. The next I know about him is that he lived in Brooklyn and that he died of a lung deseace in November 1914. Did he marry? Has he children? Could someone, please, help me with information about what happened to him. Possibly what his profession was. I am grateful for all information and help. Ellen.

1910 US census he lives in Brooklyn, Kings Co., New York. Listed as George Wersland, 33 years old, born Norway, immigrated 1894, works as an engineer in a power house. Single (unmarried) , lives in what is probably a pretty large "lodging house" on a street like "Summe......t??? Street" (I cannot read the street name)
