Hi!
I am a owner of a ship buildt in Norway 1914, I´m rebuilding the ship to a houseboat, but I missing some usefull data. So therefor I have the hope to your site. I think the name was Oddennes or something.. My Q. is! Where can I find some information in Norway or on the web there I can find some data on old ships.

It might help if you could give more details about the ship. What type of ship is it, what dimensions, and so on.

The tonnage certificate says this!

Overall length 24,46m Overall breadth 5,52m Moulded Depth amidship to upper decka 2,79m

Gross Tonnage 84

Net Tonage 25

Former swedish name HJÖRDIS/SCMX Port of Registry Stockholm

The bridge and the hatch cover is rebuilt, otherwise it still the old lady I´m called Old Grog.

This looks like an old coastal freighter or fishing boat. It might be listed in "Det Norske Veritas" shipping registry. I don't know if you have access to that anywhere in Sweden, check with your library, or a major Maritime Museum. You could also try writing or calling the Norwegian Maritime Museum in Oslo:

It´s a start to get more information and photos about my ship.

Yes, It´s a old coaster, Was shipping sand somewhere in Norway until
end of the 80:s. The ship comes to Sweden 1991.
