It says he is from the Bergen area.
Malena Monsdatter was from Melandsjø on Hitra, Sør-Trøndelag. Her mother is probably Ingeborg Henriksdatter

Johan Didrik Ratke's father was Georg Henrinch Rathje, carpenter born 1762, probably in Germany.
He and his wife Johanne Dorthea Johannesdatter Wahl came probably to Bergen at the end of 1780's. They got 3 children:
Fredrick Cornelius, born 11 Jul 1789
Johan Diedrich, born 23 May 1791
Cornelius, born 28 Apr 1793.

Johanne Dorthea Johannesdatter Wahl died when Cornelius born, and is buried at the Dome cemetery in Bergen.
Hendrich ("Georg Henrinch") married again on 06 Feb 1794 with Helene Lind. Hendrich was unfaithful during this marriage, and got a girl named Severine with Sara Berentsdatter Langeman on 14 Oct 1797.
Severine died after 6 weeks.
On 24 Feb 1799 he got the son Sven Hammer with his wife Helene. Sven died only 10 weeks old. Helene Lind died in March 1802.
Hendrich Rathje married the 3rd time on 05 Sep 1803 with Catharina Margaretha Kehlenbecks Hellemann. They got two sons:
Georg Hendrich, f. 29 Aug 1803
Johan Arent, f. 20 Jan 1806.
Catharina died 15 Aug 1817, Hendrich died 29 Jun 1825.

Thank you for helping me out on the birth location of Johan. I had thought it may say Bergen, but I wanted to be absolutely sure. The additional information is much appreciated as well. I now know the burial location of Johanne Dorothea and the names of other family members in this group.

Thank you!
