Today I found the name of another child of my great-granparents, Ole Emil Berntsen and Johanne Olsen. Apparently there was another son, born 14 June 1893, and christened "Henrik Asbojrn Berntsen" on 16 July 1893, Barbu, Aust-Agder, Norway.

When the family was 'counted' in the Norway Census of 1900, this child Henrik was not listed, leading me to believe he died sometime between July 1893 and the census of 1900. Is there a pertinent site to check for a death, and cause?

The baptismal record of Henrik Asbjørn is #49.
No death record in Barbu, Aust-Agder, no info found on when the family moved to Oslo for further search for a death record.

Hello All:
Just a note to let you all know, Cheryl and I found each other on this website, through your help. We share the same family that emigrated to the States. My great grandfather was Niels Berntsen. Again, just wanted to say thank you to all of you that assisted in uncovering some of the information! You truly are so helpful in what you are doing!
