Am looking for information on Bojine Knudsen who married Eric Ueland. Bojine was born 08 March 1881 in Karmo, on the west coast of Norway. She died 21 Oct 1938 in Prince Albert, Sask. Bojine and Eric were married 28 Apr 1902.
Would like information on the names of Bojine's parents and siblings from Norway.

The baptismal record from Skudenes on Karmøy for Boyine Helmine is #34.
Her parents were sailmaker Peder Bertinius Knudsen and Cecilie Knudsen.
Boyine had a brother Magnus Ingman, born Oct 3 1879, see #153.
Her brother Paul Bertinius Severin was born April 16 1883, see #6. Their father was dead when Paul Bertinius Severin was baptized.
Death record is #8.

Diane - You can find these families in the Karmøy bygdebok for Skudenes and Skudeneshavn. The information is also online at the Slektsforum Karmøy website.

The grandparents and their family are detailed under the farm Vik and the family of Peder Bertinius Knudsen under Skudeneshavn.

http://www.slektsforumkarmoy.no/english/

Skudenes is an area where there actually are many missing parish records due to a fire many years ago.

Thankyou for all this information. I did not receive any notices from this forum that I had any messages at all. I have just found Bojine Knudsen and Erik Ueland's marriage in the Stavanger St. Johannes parish. I was going to see if someone could tell me what it says, as I cannot read it all. I see some of the information is already on the forum now. I could not read where Erik Ueland was from either. He was Kirsten Olsen's brother. The marriage record is in1902. They were married April 28, 1902. The year for the information is A8 1899-1917. This is great getting all this information. I wonder why I did not get it too my email.

The marriage record you refer to is #19.
Erik was a typographer, they both were living at Opheimsgaten 63, which I take as Boyines home adress since it says she was staying at home on the same address.
Erik was born in Stavanger 1879 and his father was sadlemaker Erik Olsen, Ueland.
Boyine was born on Skudesnæs 1881 and her father was sailmaker Peder B. Knudsen.

Thankyou for that information. Just could not read it myself. You must have good eyesight. I see the box beside "check here to subscribe to this topic" is not checked off. Maybe that's why I didn't get the messages.
Now will look for Bojine and Erik's children's information, as I have their names and birthdates. Just wasn't sure of what area the family was in before.
Appreciate getting all this information from everyone.

Thankyou again. Sure never expected to get all this information. I'l pass it on to other family members too. Will check out all the information later on tonight and print it all up. I'm curious why the father of Bojine died. Maybe someone else in the family will know.

Hah! So that information, was probably in the book on the area then. I have been looking tonight for Kristian Klausen Kloster &Kirsten Olsen's wedding date. So, will get back to Bojine and family information next. I will look, if I have to go through all of Rennesoy parishes if I have too. Some of the grest uncles took on the last name of Skipenes but I don't think Kristian would have done that, as he was from Kloster. Thanks for the information on why Bojine's father died.
