My father died when I was young and so don't have any other information except his grandfather's name was Gustav Adolph Daffinrud born in 1873 (the spelling and date can be somewhat different). He emigrated to the US sometime in the 1880's. Can anyone help? Thanks!

gus was age 36 -wife=Delia age 33 sons norman age 15 and newton age 9. sons were born South Dakota
Delia born Wisconssin. in 1910 gus and d elia were married for 17 yrs. he immig to usa 1881

He was perhaps from one of the Daffinrud farms in either VestreToten in Oppland County or in Nord-Odal municipality in Hedmark County

The baptismal record for Gustav Adolf Daffinrud is #51.
He was born July 25 and baptized Sept 21 1873 in Stor-Elvdal, Hedmark.
His parents were Martin E. Daffinrud and Marie Arnesdatter.

The parents were married Oct 12 1868, see #24.

Martin Evensen was 28 years old, born on Vestre Toten and his father was Even Hansen. His baptismal record is #61, he was born June 6 1840 the parents being Even Hansen and Gubjør Hansdatter.
The parents in 1865.

Mari Arnesdatter was 26 years old, her father was Arne Amundsen Solbraa. Her baptismal record is #42, she was born May 2 1842 the parents being Arne Amundsen and Mari Amundsdatter, Solbraaeiet.

Arne Amundsen and Mari Amundsdatter were married June 8 1841, see #10. Arne was 26 years, Mari was 20 years old.

Arne was born Oct 2 1815, see next to the last record on left page. his parents were Amund Arnesen, Flaten under Solbraae and Kirstie Olsdatter.

Mari was born Nov 16 1820, see #1 right page. Her parents were Amund Engebretsen and Mari Hansdatter, Grytting.

Even Hansen and Gudbjør Hansdatter were married April 11 1828, see #15.
Even was 24 years and at Kolbjørnrud.
Gudbjør was 20 years and came from Longset in Vardal.

Even was baptized May 13 1804, see next to the last record left page. His parents were Hans Larsen Almstuen and Birthe Nielsdatter.
The parents and siblings in 1801.
