==========
I am trying to locate the crew list for a Norwegian-American Line ship that departed New York and arrived in Oslo on May 5, 1958.
I do not know if it was the Bergensfjord, Stavangarfjord or Oslofjord. I do not know the date of departure, only the arrival.
Are there any such records in existence?

Hi,

At www.genealogybank.com if you search for the ships names with the dates of 1957 & 1958 you might be able to make sense of their schedules reported in the various newspapers. There were many mentions of Oslofjord and Bergensfjord but none of Stavanger[s]fjord or Stavangar[s]fjord. Interestingly Oslofjord listed and sank on 10 Jan 1957, the skipper was mentioned as Capt. Leif Hanson on 9 July 1957. Don't know what else you might find...
