Borge...Norway Heritage has been a big part of my life these past few years and I am sad to read this news. I understand if the financial aspects don't pencil out, and if it has become too big of a burden.

I only hope that this news is not a result of any health problems and I hope you and your staff are all well.

It´s said there is a time for everything, that´s understandable, but so many has spend so much of their time here.
There are ca 43 000 posts in more than 5 200 topics with 6 400 members here.

Børge, I really hope that Norway Heritage will continue in the same way.

I have so many questions I'd like to post, but I kept reading the forum, because I feel I should study more first and learn more myself about how to do genealogy in Norway. I so hope that the forum doesn't shut down!

Thank you all very much for all the support and sentiments. I want you to know I am by good health. Please forgive me for having to let you wait a little longer for an update as I am away from home till next week. However, I will just let you know that from the many responses I have had the latest weeks I understand that the site is important to many people and I feel obliged to keep it running. I would like you to know that I have had several responses from individuals and organizations who have offered their possible help and support to keep the site alive. This is looks very promising and I now feel pretty sure that Norway Heritage can be continued.

Very happy to hear this! I was hoping that maybe Sons of Norway or another organization might decide to help.

This is wonderful news, Børge!
