Source; Ættebok for Granvin.
Martha Larsdatter Spildo was from Granvin.
Parents; Lars Nilsen Næs b. April 28. 1628 on Varaldsøy and Ingeborg Pedersdatter Øyerhavn b. 1640 d. 1741 on Spildo.
Lars Nilsen died on Spildo 1713.
Lars father was Nils Brynjelsen Næss.
With Lars and Ingeborg a branch of "Losna Ætta"
Losna family came to what commonly is called Hardanger
"Losna Ætta" was one of the most powerful and richest families in Norway in the 13th and 14th century.
The forefather was Phillipus Erlendson to Odensland, Kyrkjebø |

You can read what "Store Norske Leksikon" Norways major Lexicon tells about Philippus Erlendson Losna
The mediveal word Fehirde means Treasurer, the kings treasurer.
His son Erlend Philippuson Losna was "Riksråd" the kings advicer and treasurer.
More on Losna later.

Two main source, a question in DIS-Norge, Norways largest history assosiation reg. Kirsti Larsdotter in this forum and Ættarbok for Granvin published 1975, not online.
Losna info. includes Losna Ættas coat of arms, published by NRK, district Sogn & Fjordane is the main broadcasting company in Norway.
It contains a huge amount of info, Google translater works well 
The question is; Where did the Losna family come from?
A theory; Local historians believe that after the battle of Fimreite 1184 King Sverre appointed a person from the St. Clair family from Færøyene where Sverre grew up.
The St. Clairs had the same coat of arms as the losna family, link
I wonder if the origin of St. Clair is Scotish for Sinclair?
There are indicationa that the losna family died in the male line late in the 1400s and that it was the woman who led the species.
Erlend Eindrideson Losna was so rich that the king borrowed money from him in 1450.

I like to work with old documents
There are more than 19000 documents up to 1570 online in Diplomatarium Norwegicum published by the U. of Oslo and 7 volumes, 9000 documents unfinished in Regesta.
Before the Reformation 1536 Norway was a catholic country and the biggest landowner was the Catholic church.
People who could afford it gave a part of a farm or an entire farm to the church as a "gift" just to be mentioned by name and bede for the soul in the first servant of God after their own funeral.
Shortly before 1400.
Gift from Erlend Filippusson Losna to Nidaros (Trondheim) bishopric.
He gives the whole farm Gjemmestad in Gloppen, Nordfjord, the value of 20 "Månedsmatsmål" (Adequate value in butter and grain to feed a man in 20 months)
Erlend Losna died 1407, link
After the reformation the king took all the farms.

To find the correct connection between Lars Nilsen Næs and Spildo and Fillippus Erlendson Lodensen and Losna is difficult. I can not guarantee the authenticity of this family tree as long the sources are not listed, but you can keep it for a more detailed investigation 
I only use the lineage, the anual figurs vary somewhat and are omitted, it goes like this;
Lars Nilsen Spildo 1635-1717.
Father ; Nils Brynjelsen Næs
Father Brynjel Sjursen Næs
Mother Magdalena Samsonsdatter Ling
Father Samson Fartegnson Linga
Father Fartegn Matson Bagge-Seim-Ænes

Summary of a piece treaty between Norway, Sweden and Denmark from one side and German Prussia and "Livland" Livonia (Baltic countries) who undertake not to support each other enemies. Citizens of these countries will have full agency in each others country.

Its assumed that Erlend Fillppuson Losna married a girl from the Rømer family. Otte Rømer became the kings chanslor and is the ancestor to Inger Ottesdatter Rømer

Perth Scotland March 23. 1429.
Customs accounts from Edinburough where among other Eindride of Losna, a noble man from Norway, the kings servant, was paid 10/1 Pound.
The document is kept in Scotland, link

Eindride Erlendsson of Losna, knighted in Kalmar, Sweden, 1397, is mentioned as queen Margarets "right hand"
In 1405 the young king Eric instructed by queen Margrete appointed Eindride Erlendsson Losna to commander of Akershus castle and Fortress

Westminster, England Nov. 8. 1415.
John, duke of Bedford and earl of Ricmond and chanslor of England responds to king Erik (of Norway) that he has recieved his messengers bishop Jacob of Oslo and Mr. Eindride of Losna that he temporary in a year has forbidden any sailing from England to islands which belong to king Eric´s kingdom, espesially to Iceland.
The letter is written in Latin.
