Oddvar Svendsen, a friend from Uvdal, Norway contacted me Jan. 30th asking for help in searching for American relatives. In his words, "great grandfather Svein Iversen sowed a seed before immigrating to America in 1883".
Oddvar's grandfather, Halvor, was born 29 April 1882 to unmarried parents Svein Iversen (age 20) and Sigrid Olsdatter (age 31).
This son was named after Svein's twin brother, Halvor.
His great grandfather left Nore Parish, Buskerud County Norway in February 1883
Oddvar would like to establish contact with his America relatives. If anyone is interested in contacting him, I can help facilitate.
My e-mail: dhilde1932@cableone.net

I believe you will want to talk to me. I am in contact with the American relatives related to Svend Iverson. My wife is a direct relative of Svend. My wife grandmother who is still alive (age 88) was Svends grand-daughter. I have been in contact with one relative in Norway but always happy to make more. I do have photographs of Svend and his family. You can contact me at Lukeduk1980@yahoo.com
