It was a 2. Caroline Lie who em. via Oslo from Eiker 1891, age 23 (not sure who her parents was)
Anton H. Lie age 17 who traveled with her is most likely Anna Kirstine Lie b. 1861s younger brother b. 1872. Dest for both was Hudson, Wisc., click here

With them was also an Andreas S. Lie 27, American citizen, from Modum, neighborhood to Skotselv.

It`s only Carolines birthday that has a small deviation link

Caroline Hansdatter Lie`s correct birthday is March 6. 1866 (bapt. April 8.)

Once the Li/Lie/Lid/ (to become Lee) and the Sorensen families arrived in the US/Wisconsin and married, I have found the various US censuses showing them and am in touch with various far-flung cousins descending from the five daughters of Anna Kristine Li/Lee and Andrew Sorensen. My main focus, which is being so wonderfully and amazingly addressed here, are the Norwegian families of these two families whilst all the time wondering if there is someone in Norway who would be interested in learning what became of their relatives once they arrived in the US.

You asked the forum to find descendants of the SIBLINGS of Anna Kristen Lie/Lee and/or Andrew Soren Paulson.

If you are saying you know the whereabouts in the USA of some of those siblings, then do identify them so that the forum does not need to seek them. The forum is attempting to track each sibling, one by one.

In tracing Anna Kristen's sister Caroline, it was found Caroline came to Hudson, Wisconsin. That's simply where the trail led.

I understand that.
A problem is the 80 years rule for the protection of ones privazy and the last census published from the archives is 1910.
The best option as I see it is to bring up as many names as possible, perhaps some out there find this topic.
Therefore Its ok to find out who emigrated as one do not has to look for someone who did not stay in Norway.

There ar two "Olaf Sĝrensen families" in Kongsberg, yours and a baker family, therefore its dif. to know who`s who.

Lie/Li/Lid means Hillside.

I apologize if I've made this more complicated. I so very very much appreciate everything you've found so far.

What I know now are the names of my great-grandparents (Anna Kristine Lie/Li (which became "Lee" in the US) and her husband Andrew Soren Paulsen/Paulson. I know Anna's sister Karoline came to the US and married Edward "Ericksen" Lomnes.

Andrew Soren Paulsen/Paulson's sister Karen Marie Sorensdatter came to the US and married Peter Knivestoen Paulson (b. 05 Feb 1862 in Skotselv, Ovre Eiker, Norway)

Any other information about either Anna's or Andrew's parents or siblings came from this incredible forum.

Because the Paulsen/Paulson name is a common one here in the US, and many Norwegians settled in Wisconsin and Minnesota, it's sometimes hard to know if a particular Paulson belongs to my family tree. Having the names of Anna's and Andrew's family members has been incredibly helpful. My tree is on ancestry.com under Church/Gunkle/Clawson/Paulson.

That is ok
I have searced Kongsberg, Eiker and Modum for more information, but right now it seems like a brickwall stands in the road.
It´s not the first time when it comes to genealogy, believe me.

It took me many years to get as far as you.
If something of interest turns up I will let you know.
