Is there any type of BMD search site strictly for Norway, where I could find out how long Anthon and Marthin lived? They're my dead end at the moment.

I'm so happy I could cry! :)

That´s what´s great with genealogy, one can please others

If Martin or Anton do not exist in the 1900 census, either they em. og both died between 1875 and 1900.
Perhaps we can find out tomorrow, it´s midnight in Norway.

WOW!

This is amazing! Thank you for all of your hard work in helping! My parents will be thrilled with this.

Now, I will have to figure out how to put this all together in a formal family tree.

Safe to say that I have caught the genealogy bug!

Is it best to just search the Internet to get pictures of old farms? (If they even exist?)

I'd love to actually find a street/house/farm pic that is relevant. How does one go about finding this? Do these even exist?

You are welcome.

We can make a search for these farms later today, some should still exist.

Not easy to find these small cotter farms, if they still exist they are probbaly used as a summer recidence.

Gyda and her mother lived on Mobraaten/Mobråten in the 1900 census.
I have a photo of Mobraaten/Mobråten Villa, not sure but I believe Villa is a smaller place in Eidsvoll, Mobråten at Villa link

The same for Tønsagerbraaten /-bråten where Lars and Anne lived with his mother and Gyda 1900.
The main farm Tønsager is spelled Tønsåker today and exist.

Hans Hansen Aasveen on Braaten in the 1910 census where he was married to his first wife Anna Østensdatters sister Thea, his son Thorvald Hansen born 1897 married twice, 3 living children (no names)
You can also investigate Anne Hansdatters siblings.
To get more information I think you have to contact the owner, click here

Did they get a daughter Anne Marie1905 in Canada or is the info. wrong.
