I am looking for passenger lists for 2 voyages in 1882. SS Hero that departed on 4/27/1882 from Trondheim Norway to Hull England. SS Circassian that departed on 5/4/1882 from Liverpool England to Quebec Canada. Arrival in Canada was May 14, 1882.

Hi

Here are the names of passengers from Circassian's arrivals 1882 in Quebec. If you click on names you can see the manifest:

A Hull destination is a clue that the Hero was unlikely to have been the ship your ancestor crossed the ocean on. By the 1880s there was a well established "feeder" system funneling Norwegian and other Scandinavian passengers to ports in Great Britain where the passengers would change to different, larger, more economic ships for the trans Atlantic trip.

Here is link to search engine for departures from Trondheim. These listings were originally created by police in the port city recording those who registered to go. Passenger lists are created at the port of landing:

The Hull was a small vessel that my ancestors boarded on 4/27/82 to travel from Trondheim to Hull. It was not the transatlantic vessel. The took the SS Circassian from Liverpool to Quebec.
Thanks for your input.

What was your relatives name? Maybe someone can help locate him on a passenger list.
