There appears to be more than one family tree for a Jan Baade in Bergen at the website FamilySearch.org

There are also various databases at the Digitalarkivet website and digitized original records for Bergen which you can search.

Another branch if the info is correct.
I believe that Daniel Baade 1686 and Peter Baade 1690, both born in Diederichshagen at Rostock are Brothers link

Peter Baades son Johan/Jan who married Inger Povelsdatter 1788 and died as fisheman on the sea in Finnmark county 1813.
Info from Bø Bygdebook tells he was born in Bergen 1759 in bergen.

Source; The discussion in Norwegian above

See also Ancestry.com message board, Surnames, Baade, "Peter Baade from Rostock to Bergen" to be in touch with descendants researching this family. They seem to think a number of brothers came across the Baltic to Bergen.

Thank you,

I think it is in Vesterålen.

From the discussion in Norwegian above:

Peter Braades son Johan/Jan who married Inger Povelsdatter 1788 died while fisking in Finnmark 1813.

Info from Bø bygdebook tells he was born in Bergen ca 1759

So that's in Nordland fylke...

Online tree has Kaurin Berg Baade Johnson born 03 April 1881, at Boe in Vesteraalen, son of Hans Baade Johansen and Anne Sofia Klausdatter. Is that the family, Lori? In 1865 Norway census, Hans is age 12 and living on the farm Gimestad with parents Johan Hansen age 40 (b about 1825) and Cristiane Olsdatter. An older man Hans Baade living there could be Johan father. I haven't checked.
