Yes, it could be him! Is there a way to find out if he passed before 1910? I have asked the Norwegian Consulat in New York, but not for the surname Petersen. Thank you again for helping me, as you see, I am lost here!

Here are Andrew Peterson -that exact spelling- from the deaths in New York database at the Italian Genealogical Group website from 1902 & up. They are numerous and there is absolutely no certainty he is here because of name spelling variabilities, or no record being made, or his not dying in New York but elsewhere. Wow, what a job you do for me! I have been searching Anders (Adrews) swedish background now, and found out that his father wrote his name somtimes Peter, sometimes Petter. I still think that the Andrew Pettersen who passed in 1910 is the best one , so far. Is Anders middle name of any help? Nicolaus, Nicolas, Niclas, N.? Thank you again, I am not good at searching abroad and need help, as you see:-)
