Am trying to find info relating to My 3rd great-grandmother who was born in Norderhov, Buskerud. Think her first name is Røyen but not sure. Røyen Andersdtr.
Here is what I have.
1. She is the 2nd wife of Michel Asbjørnsen (f. Apr 1717 on Hønefossen, Norderhov) married 7 Dec 1745. http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=8523&idx_id=8523&uid=ny&idx_side=-68
2. She has five Children:
Karen f. Jun 1746 on Hønenfossen.
Engelbratz f. Sep 1748 On Hønefoss, dies Jan 1749.
Anders f. Feb 1750 on Hønefoss, dies Jul 1827 Kittelsrud, Gran.
Mari f. Jan 1753 on Hønefoss.
Asbjørn f. Oct 1755 on Hønefoss, dies Nov 1756
3. She dies and is buried on 19 May 1757 at the stated age of 32 years. http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=8523&idx_id=8523&uid=ny&idx_side=-267
This means that she was born ca. 1724-1726.
I think I have found her birth in May 1726 but not sure. http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=8521&idx_id=8521&uid=ny&idx_side=-7
Father is listed as Anders Andersen and mother as June Larsdatter. Would appreciate confirmation by more knowledgable researchers. Also what farm is listed for them.
Thanks, Gene Nelson

The only info I have is about blacksmith Michel Andersen who married 3 times. His last wife was Kari Knudsdatter. They lived on Kvernbergsund Ødegården, Norderhov, in 1801. Michel died 1805.
Kverbergsundet at that time was the southern part of todays Hønefoss.
There is a transcript of the probate protocol after him where all of his children are mentioned.

Norderhov means the northern Hov. Hov was a pagan place/building where people worshiped the old Norse gods and was probably build on the same place as the church stands today.

Time to close the pc, it is one hour passed midnight in Norway.

Thanks to Kåarto and Llyndal40 for their help. However, the person listed in the 1726 church arkivet record is not the person I seek. I did not look that close at the name of the baby girl but it is Randi and the person I'm looking for is Røyen or Røien Andersdatter.

In the following arkiwerket forum Mikkel Asbjørnsen is discussed near the end of the discussion. It relates to an article in Årbok for Hadeland 1968 s 42 ff er det en artikkel 'Mestersmeden på Kittelsrud' av Sverre Lysgaard. This article mentions Mikkel's three wifes which includes Røyen but does not give any details of her birth date, place or family.

A candidate for Røyen Andersdatter is the child baptized April 15 1725 (no name in record) of Anders Haraldsen, Hønefoss and Karen Andersdatter, see last record on right page.

Einar may have got it. Here is Rønnoy Andersdatter Farm Name?? confirmation in 1740. Exactly 15 years after baptism record. Perhaps someone with good eyes can read the farm name. Looks a bit like Høng?. See the tail end of the thrid line in the confirmations for the girls.

First, again thanks for all the help.
Then, Røyen Andersdatter Hønefossen is listed in the 1740 Confirmation class of Oct 2 or 16 after Trinity 1740. http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=8523&idx_id=8523&uid=ny&idx_side=-11
Røyen listed as the first line of the ladies grouping.

lyndal40 posted that he had found a possible Røyen (Rønnoy) but he was off by a couple of months.

However, he and eibach were probably right about Anders Harelsen (Haraldsen) with the "no name" birth on 15 Apr 1725.
As far as I can tell it does not state boy or girl.
In addition to the other ttwo births mentioned, Harald d. 23 feb 1718 and Engebret d. 19 Jul 1722, the first Harald was baptized on 23 Oct 1712 (p079 in DA church record) and Marte was baptized on 15 Dec 1715 (p216 in DA church record).
Anders Harelsen Holmstuen and Kari Andersdatter Berg were married on 20 Jan 1712 in Norderhov.

Another interesting fact is that there is an Engelbret Andersen present as a witness for some of Michel Asbjørnsen and Karen Røyen's children,
1. Karen Michelsdtr. born Jun 1746 at Hønefossen (p075 DA church records).
Witnesses: Knud Berg, Engelbretz Andersen, Ragnild Nieldtr., Marthe Eggarsdtr., and Marthe Asbjørnsdtr.

2. Engelbratz Michelsen born Sep 1748 (p110 DA church records).
Witnesses: Lage Asbjørnsen, Alf Larsen, Marthe Asbjørnsdtr., Gunnild Johansdtr., Siri Gulbrandsdtr.

3. Ander Michelsen born Feb 1750 (p130 in DA church records).
Witnesses: Engelbratz Andersen, Ole Olsen, Ole Ammundsen, Ragnild Nielsdtr., Gunnild Gulbransdtr.

4. Mari Michelsdtr. born Jan 1753 (p180 DA church records).
Witnesses: Alf Larsen, Lage Asbjørnsen, Lisbet Sorensdtr., Gunild Johansdtr., Siri Gulbrandsdtr.

5. Asbjørn Michelsen born Oct 1755 (p232 in DA church records. Witnesses: Ellling ..?.., Lage Asbjørnsen, Marthe Eggarsdtr., Lisbet Ammundsdtr., Mari Knudsdtr.

The question is - is this Engelbratz Andersen Røyen's brother?
This fact (if true) along with In the confirmation listing, Røyen's residence is listed as Hønefossen which is where Anders Harelsen is living at the birth of the child in 1725 means that Anders Harelsen is Røyen's father. However, there is no proof.
