Ancestry.com has this record for the baptism of Andras Madsen. However I am having some difficulty finding the origianl on Digitalarivet. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you Jackie, now I get it. The fathers name is in the body of the record and the mother is over on the far right hand side. That did confuse me a little. And the date there looks like 12 May which does not match the Ancestry.com record. Does it?

The record as indexed did not include the date for the mother's introduction - 12 May. The dates for baptism and for birth match the indexed record.

"Inntrodusere" "Inngangskone" Churching of woman was mandatory in Norway until 1754, when it became voluntary (for the priest?) but in some district's it still lasted 2-3 generations.
