I am trying to work out what my ancestors position was on the farms on Finnoy in Rogaland. I have several living there at the time of the priests' census in 1758.

Mostly my ancestors are in the first column but I cannot work out what the heading means exactly. First word translates as "farm" I think. Does the second word describe the position of the farmers in that column? At a guess I think that they are tenant farmers as 4rd column are "Huusmand" - crofters. Please could someone translate the heading for me and explain what it means.
Thank you!
Karen.

Gaard-brugende / Deris børn / Deris tienere / Huusmænd og Inderster / Deris børn

Gaard-brugende: Literally farm-users, the couple heading the farm
Deris børn: Their children
Deris tienere: Their servants/help
Huusmand og inderster: Cotters and tenants
Deris børn: Their children, presumable children of cotters and tenants

Thank you so much for the translation!

I assume then that as farm users, they were renters/lease holders rather than owners.
