Anyone out there who has information about the Norwegian Old People's Home in Chicago.

I understand that it was built in 1896 on the site of the of Norwood Park Hotel. How long did it exist? Who financed it?

Are records from the home available anywhere? (other than the listings in the US Federal Censuses)
