Hello,

I am trying to find sailings (and, perhaps passenger lists), from New York to Goteborg in 1888 or 1889. My family sailed from Goteborg to New York on 14 Mar 1888 on the "SS Geiser". The Household Examination books showed them living in Sweden at the time and that is where they passed and were buried. I am assuming they made the trip to New York and then returned, perhaps travelling round trip on the "SS Geiser"? I have tried many online options, but have had no luck! All I can find are the sailings TO New York.

Any information about sites or how I could proceed would be greatly appreciated. Stay safe and be well!

There are no archived passenger manifests in the US for ships departing back to Europe. As far as I know there are no passenger manifests kept for returning ships in Europe covering the years in question.
