I'm trying to find out when Halvor Torkildsen (born Mar 210, 1821 in Gjerpen, Telemark) left Norway for North America and where he ended up settling.
According Norwegian church records Halvor Torkildsen, his wife Ingeborg Gurine Andersdatter [1820–1???], their two children Birthe Maria [b.1863] and Torkild [b. 1865], plus Ingeborg's son from a previous marriage, Anders Olsen [b. 1854] planned to emigrate to America. The record is dated Apr 8, 1869.

Given the record date, I would have assumed that they had left on a ship in April/May 1869. But I can't find them in any passenger lists.
The closest match I've found is a Halvor Torkildsen & wife in this NorwayHeritage listing for «Rjukan»'s departure from Skien on April 12, 1870: http://www.norwayheritage.com/p_list.asp?jo=1584&ps=42571.
But I'm really not sure it's the right Halvor Torkildsen, among others because no children are mentioned.
Any help locating Halvor and his family on a passenger list, would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the passenger list. It state Halvor Torkildsen and wife.

Departure Port: Skien, Norway
Arrival Date: 5 Jun 1870
Arrival Port: Quebec, Quebec, Canada
Vessel: Rjukan

That's them. And I realize now that I had forgotten that their daughter Birthe Maria died only 9 months old in 1864.
