A family member died of the subject illness, which I translate to puerperal fever, but I find no record of her giving birth in that time period.
The deceased was Johanne Matilde Jonsdtr Sletten, resident of Myksvoll in Lygre local parish, Hordaland. She died 9 June 1916, recorded in the church book for Alversund parish, Lygre local parish.

The last record I find for a child born to Johanne was for Ludvik Johannes Myksvoll...my father's cousin... born May 1915.

There is a church book for stillborn births in this parish (Alversund/Lygre) and time period, but seem to be no entries.

Am I missing something? My experience of these church books has been, records are thorough, no one is missed.
