Hello, my daughter found this website and let me know to respond - although it seems quite a bit of time since the last post. Soren Jespersen is my grandfather; his son Harry is my father. Harry and June (my mother) had two daughters, myself, Nancy Jespersen Goern, and my sister, Lois Jespersen Howard. There are four living granddaughters of Soren Jespersen. I am living in California and the other three are still living in Illinois. Please feel free to post or send me an email for more information. We would be very interested in learning more about our Norwegian relatives.

Nancy and Bjørn! I am very interested in getting in touch with you both. Nancy - I believe we're 5th cousins - through mutual descendance from Lena Miller Jespersen's great grandfather, Norwegian constitution signer Hans Jacob Grøgaard.
Bjørn - jeg hører gjerne mer om Søren og familien i Bergen.
I tried to message you both but as I'm new on the forum it won't let me contact members directly (before I've posted board messages.. strange stuff :-D ).
sincerely, Hanne Kjersti Østenrød
