Yes I suspect that the Erling in the original post is the son of Olga not a sibling.

As per usual there are some Trees on Ancestry with a more likely death date and one that matches the Geni record.

| Wow. I am in awe. We have a family heritage book that offers a glimpse of the ancestry--photos of my lineal ancestors and maybe a brief mention of siblings, aunts, uncles or cousins. Once I put this all together, I will turn my attention to Sigwald's wife's family from Stavanger. The family home is "preserved" as the office for the canning museum in Stavanger. I have a bit more information about them, dating to the early 1800's. |

According to one of the more useful Trees on Ancestry Berthe and her family also came to America. However I wonder about the birth place for Olava. There are no sources for her birth place so that needs to be checked.

Following the 1865 Census perhaps the Tree is correct. It also shows several birth places for father, mother and children. Gulbrand moved his family around a lot.
