I believe Magrette Hovaldsdatter should have been written Margethe Haaversdatter. She is recorded as married in the 1865 census, but not to whom.

Perhaps Halefos is a bad rendering of Kaldefos which Anders was on when daughter Kari was baptized?

That could be the answer to Halefos, an error writing done by the agent in Bergen.

It seems to have been a rough journey with Valkyrien in 1873

I had two sets of Great Grand Parents on the 1873 Valkyrian voyage, Anders and Endrine Anderson and Halvor and Anna (Jacobson) Busfesund. It was pretty amazing to read about their journey.

We had all of Endrine's information wrong, we thought her parents were Kristoffer Storebo and Anna Heimark. We also did not know she had a brother. I'm wondering if any of her siblings came to America and used either of those last names?

Anders and Andrine's Granddaughter, Clara Dronen, and Halvor and Anna's Grandson, Luke Halvorson, are my parents

Hi.
Just a small correction:
Halvor Jacobsen and Anna Elisabeth Knudsdatter with 5 children in 1865 came from Busesund in Sund .

There is a man named John Storebø found in the Hans Jervell book pn page 90, lives at Finley--don't know what ,if any, relationship he might have. Here is his baptism #16:

Source information: Hordaland county, Sund, Parish register (official) nr. A 14 (1850-1866), Birth and baptism records 1865, page 109.
Permanent pagelink: http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=1937&idx_id=1937&uid=ny&idx_side=-134

Since you now have places for each of the families, you could search yourself for all the additional siblings at the digitalarkivet where all these links take you. Strolling through the baptisms to pick up all the siblings names to build the family. Then checking the migration records of the parish registers or looking at the transcribed (and searchable) lists of departing Norwegians in the appropriate ports...It's fun!

The page noted for Anne Endresdatter's baptizm was for 1838, but it says she was baptized in 1812, also on the 1865 census it has her birth year as 1813. I've been trying to figure this out but didn't have any luck.
The rest of the information is wonderful. Thank you.

Some times the links get fouled up. Here is the link the Einar meant to post. His instructions are correct.
