The witnesses of Lenos' and Signe's marriage were also relatives:
A.C. Larson is Lenos' brother Anton Christian Larson and Sigrid Olson is the daughter of Signe's uncle and aunt Nels Olson Kirkeby and Karen Olsdatter. Here in this family tree:

Intetesting. From the data in this tree it looks like Lenos'/Linius' twin (see post below) brother Anton Christian married Signy Konstance's first cousin Sigrid C., born in 1882, daughter of Halvor's sister Karen Mathea. Karen Mathea and housband Nils Olsen can be found on the same passenger list in 1881 as Halvor, Karine and Signe/Signy, right above in the list, as no. 415 and 416, right before the others at 417-419:

Note the timeline of this profile, which states that he resided in Minnesota in 1869. I have access to MyHeritage, and could inspect some (unsourced) MyHeritage matces to the profile, stating that he married Ane Mathea in Onalaska on 1870-04-08 and that the two older sons (both) were born there on 1874-09-27.

So apparently the family returned to Norway some time after the Norwegian 1875 census (in which they don't appear) and then went back after the birth of son #3.

There seems to be some confusion in the records as to where Pollis was born.

Woohoo!

The original candidate Signa Charlotte Olsen and the 2nd Signe C Larson can be put aside, we have a winner! (As long as OP agrees, I guess

I must say it was quite a rocky road from the OP's first post to this quoted post from Jackie.
