The Torger Olson living in Lillehammer appears to be the one you are looking for Click Here
The LDS has
TORGER OLSEN Male
Birth:
Christening: 28 APR 1844 Oyer, Oppland, Norway
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Parents:
Father: OLE JOHANNESEN
Mother: ANNE TORGERSDR

and in the Arkivnett Oppland database for Øier there is listed
Born 14.04.1844
Christened 28.04.1844
Name
Torger
Far:
Ole Johannessen Olstadsveen Gmd. Gift

Mor:
Anne Torgersd. Olstadsveen Gift

You listed Torger's father as Ole Olson, I would guess that it was assumed that since Torger's last name was Olson that his father would have the same last name. This would not be true in Norway due to the patronym naming system.

In the 1885 census for North Dakota there is an Ole and Anna Johnson with a son Matias (Mathias Joh in 1865) Olson about the right ages living in Cass County Click Here
