I am looking for any information on Ingvald Aas. His father was Peter and his mother was Anna Moller. He was born in Strømmen, Sakshaug, Inderøy, Nord-Trøndelag. He married Helge(a) Bakken.

Ingvald left Norway from the port of Trondheim on or about 21 July 1906 on an unnamed ship of the Canadian line. He is listed with a previous residence of Trondheim.

The 1900 Norwegian census shows him living in Trondheim, working as a machinist? and with a younger brother in the same location?
http://www.rhd.uit.no/folketellinger/ftliste_e.aspx?ft=1900&knr=1601&kenr=066&bnr=0011&lnr=05

What specific information are you hoping to find?

(You don't need to post a question twice - that is discouraged in this forum.)

Could this be his parents and brother Olaf? Merchant Peter Aas born in Tydal and Anna Johanna Aas born in Trondheim, both Sør - Trøndelag County, present Inderøen in Nord - Trøndelag county: http://digitalarkivet.uib.no/cgi-win/webcens.exe?slag=visbase&sidenr=4&filnamn=f01729&gardpostnr=180&personpostnr=979&merk=979#ovre

I am hoping to assure that this is really my great grandfather. I don't have much information. I believe that his name was changed to Osse once he was in the US.
Once I know for sure that this is him, then I am able to go on from there and maybe be able to find more information.

You'll have to find something that gives you information about his birthyear. A US census with a listing of when he immigrated to the US may also help you. Marriage record, various federal and/or state censuses, death record, tombstone information, land purchase records, naturalization records, etc. etc. Other relatives may also have information that will help you.

You've been given a couple of possible leads based merely on the barest bones of names you gave.

Just a practical advice when you enter digitakarkivet and Sør - Trøndelag County I forgot to tell you.
Tydal was a local parish in Selby main parish in both 1801 and 1865 census. There are 12 Aas farms in Tydal Sokn under Selbu
