Looks like she arrived in New York on 29 May 1891 and it was on the ship Hekla. I will look further and see if I can find her in Argyle, Wisconsin.

There was an Eline Ingebretson getting married in Dunn, Wi on 29 Apr 1893, but I researched and found that she is not the correct one. (just so nobody else finds it and thinks she is!!)

Well, it is late afternoon and I have been working on this (among other things) all day...I am sorry to say, that I cannot find her in anything other than the Passenger listing. Hopefully, new eyes can help.

I wonder if it`s possible that she had changed name when she arrived to USA or destination.......
Elina was from a place called Tingelstadeiet, and I think the farm was called Banken or something like that, another name perhaps is Sørum.
I have also a thought that she maybe changed her first name, but I don`t now......It`s so many alternatives
I found her half sister in Polk Wisconsin's was married to Andreas Johnsen and her name was Anne Marie Ingebritsen, married name was Johnsen

Hello Clark.....
Thank you for the link you sent me, but Elina was`t born before August 12.1867....
I have the protocols who show that Elina emigrated to America in 1891 and I know that she came in to the country.
But I don`t find her anywhere, so i hope there is anyone who want to help me with this woman.
She is Margareta's half sister(I have a topic for Margaret on this page).
If you or someone else need more information please tell me.

Have a nice day
