Hello Steffani!
My name is Malin Bang Hagan and I am the grand daugther of Harry Bergeton Bang, who was the only son of Ragnvald Bang, who we so far know is first born child of Bernhard A. Bang. We live in North Norway. If you want to we can e-mail you a photo of Bernhard's tombstone. It just recently came to our knowledge that Bernhard's grave was in Sortland, where we live. Best regards from Malin, Norway.

Hi I think that Hjordis Sofia is the first born of Bernhard Andreas Bang - She was my grandmother - and she always told of being the eldest of the 12 children when I was younger- I am in transit right now - just moving back to Oregon from California.. So it will take me a while to get my puter up and running. it was a long move- I will be gald to share any information with you at that time

'Harry Bergeton Bang, who was the only son of Ragnvald Bang, who we so far know is first born child of Bernhard A. Bang'
I am looking for source information about this - my Norwegian Cousins and I are trying to find our family links. I am not quite sure where to look - as I do not know where Ragnvald Bang comes from or her maiden name or farm. Can I just go to digitalarkviets and put in her name? or should I search the Parish records? Not sure which parish to look for.
Thnak you ahead of time for your help - it is greatly appreciated.

Indication of dates/years of birth or similar would not have been bad.
A Ragnvald Bang b. 1897 is in the 1900 census, but he was the son of Anton and Anna Bang. see Rødøy
The first child of Bernhard A. Bang (and Pauline), see Hjørdis Sofie #40 from earlier posting.
