A neighbor of mine in Norway, b. 1917, wonders what happened to his uncle, his mother’s brother Samuel (Gunderson) Tvetene (Tveten), b. in Norway Dec 3, 1875, emigrated to the US in 1896. In the census of 1930 he is living in Purdy, Pierce, farmer, not married. On Jan 8, 1936, he married Inger Johnsen of the County of Traill, North Dakota, in Kitsap Co, WA, we have a copy of the Marriage Certificate.
This is the last information we have been able to find about both of them. We have more or less given up finding out what happened to him or where he and his wife are buried. We have checked personally several cemeteries around Gig Harbor without success, and the couple are not listed on any of the cemetery lists on the internet.
