I believe my Grandfather, G. Janssen, arrived to New York on February 25, 1895 on board the SS Braunschweig. Please, does anyone know how I can obtain a passenger list? Additionally, this ship sailed from Bremen, Germany to the USA. Does anyone know if it makes stops elsewhere (e.g. Amsterdam, Liverpool, etc.) prior to reaching New York? Thanks

Pete Peterson

At Ellis Island, he is registered as Gustav Tanssen (15).

I'm not sure about the route, but it could have had a stopover in Southampton. I doubt it went up to Liverpool.
