I am looking for my GG grandfather: Gulbrand Botolfson Dahl
B:
23 May 1828 in Halden, Ostfold, Norway
D:
19 Jun 1898 in Atwater, Kandiyohi, Minnesota,
immigrated in 1862. from Norway...
Landed in 1862.
Married to:Maren Kristina (Magnusdotter) Dahl
Birth 20 Aug 1829 in Sarpsborg, Ostfold, Norway
Death 24 Feb 1902 in Atwater, Kandiyohi, Minnesota, United States.

I am looking for their passenger list
ship records.

They had a daughter Gulette Mathilde Aug 7 1853, see #66.

They were married Nov 7 1852, see #50.

Oh my!!! so fast! thank you SO very much! I have been looking till I am almost blind LOL and here you find in hours!!
so many thanks! I have a number of children born to them in Minnesota, but not sure of their accuracy.
so will add this first baby daughter Gulette mathilde Aug. 7th 1853.

Gulbrand was born in Nittedal, Akershus, see #22.
He was baptized June 8 1828 and his parents were Botolf Pedersen and Berthe Gulbrandsdatter living at Dahl østre.

The parents were married April 21 1824, see #10.
Botolf Pedersen was then 28 years old and Berthe Gulbrandsdatter was 25.

Maren Kristina was baptized Sept 20 1829 in Skjeberg church, see #41. Her parents were Magnus Olsen and Martha Hansdatter.

The parents were married May 15 1818, see #18.
Magnus Olsen was then 28 years old and Martha Hansdater was 24.

We are so incredibly happy!!!! so thrilled you have found this. Don't know how, but this is wonderful.
Can't wait to phone all family in the morning!

Thank you a million bunches Einar. I am just using Ancestry.ca to fill in the family tree.
Ancestry.ca is ok, but seems to have limitations when it comes to
any thing out of America.
I am looking these places up on Google earth, but really just want to get on a
plane and travel. This certainly is more than we ever hoped for and
brought tears of joy.
