I would like some help finding a Bergen address.

In the 1900 census, my uncle Iver was recorded as living with mother and stepfather at Granesmuget 11, Bergen. I am unable to locate this address or street using Google Maps.

The dwelling was identified as: vaaningshus. I expect it was a low-income neighborhood…the stepfather, Paul Olai Olsen, was a day laborer.

Granesmauet, went from Nordnesveien to Nordnesgaten, first "smau" ( smal street) northvest for Tollbodallmenningen, named in 1857 after Jens Gran (1758–1828). In 1700-tallet also named Ole Brinchs smau, and also Vosses (el. Fosses) smau. Smauet not reconstructed after an explosion in 1944.
